Ethical Re-investing
At HG Financial Planning we believe in the power of ethical investing both for making a positive impact upon society as well as achieving consistent, steady returns.
We also take this ethos one step further and have committed to donating 10% of all of our profits to charitable causes.
Over the last couple of years we have been supporting a project very close to our director Chris’ heart; the Yonent Mame Ibrahima School, Senegal West Africa.

We have already been able to support the junior and middle schools through our donations having helped to ensure the children have a safe area to play and learn in by building a outdoor playing, gathering a teaching space made secure with a perimeter wall and shaded areas.
We have provided sports equipment and lessons, laid flooring inside the school and provided basic equipment including tables and books.

We are incredibly proud to have been able to make a difference in this village but still have work left to be done. The next step to ensure children have the opportunity to get a full education is to build a high school for children ages 14+ who otherwise could not carry on their teenage education. This is particularly important for promoting the proper education of girls.
