HG Financial Planning is an established family business located in Heald Green, providing a personalised service to clients in North East Cheshire and the Stockport area including Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Gatley, Wilmslow, Bramhall and Poynton.
Run by father and daughter team, Chris Jones and Ceri Evans, HG Financial Planning offer an exciting blend of traditional values with a touch of the contemporary blended in.
Our Story
Almost everything we do or aim to achieve in our lives requires the right money or resources at the right time. Information and commentary on personal finances has never been more plentiful and easily available, as provided by the internet and bounced around via social media networks.
Yet how many of us have secured from these, or other more traditional sources, the vital ingredients for effective planning and accumulating the resources that make our real lives manageable and hopes reachable?

Keeping It In The Family.
The father/daughter team of Chris Jones and Ceri Evans bridge the generations where financial services start to become a priority. Dealing with each client as though they were a member of their own family, this excitingly dynamic blend offers the right approach for the right circumstances.
Chris Jones - (Dip PFS)
Chris has worked in the financial services industry since 1992 initially advising personal clients at HSBC then graduating to become senior business adviser for Stockport and Trafford areas.
Having successfully built up a wide range of experience and satisfied clients in 2006 he launched his own independent agency to ensure that the very best solutions were now available to them from an unrestricted marketplace.
He continues to enjoy offering thorough and detailed advice across all areas of financial planning with the objective of helping clients be realistic in building their financial security and achieving their personal aspirations.
Away from the office he enjoys family time, sitting under a tree, watching rugby union, serving lattes at the local charity café and helping run the village summer fair.
Ceri Evans - APFS CertCII (MP)
After graduating from Manchester University with a BA (Hons) degree in International Business, Finance and Economics, Ceri joined the financial services sector in 2017.
She completed her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and Certificate in Mortgage Advice in 2019 and attained the coveted Chartered status in 2022.
Ceri is passionate about providing holistic financial advice that is honest, clear and accessible so that clients feel secure and confident in their financial future and achieving their lifetime goals. She is committed to providing a personal service, free from lengthy waiting times and endless jargon.
Outside of work Ceri loves to spend time walking in nature with her Corgi Azuki. She also enjoys playing Pickleball and a spot of DIY.
Nick Jones - (Dip PFS)
Nick has worked in financial services for more than a decade, acquiring a wealth of experience assisting clients from all walks of life in their financial planning journey.
He completed his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in 2018, and continues to expand and deepen his knowledge, allowing him to provide advice that is current, balanced, and tailored to his client’s circumstances and aspirations.
Outside of work Nick loves going for walks with his wife and two kids and enjoys reading and exercising.
